The United Arab Emirates is set to witness some cloudy and dusty weather during the next few days, with a slight chance of rain in the eastern region along with slightly cooler temperatures.

The NCM (National Centre of Meteorology) has forecasted hot and dusty weather for Monday, July 25 but with temperatures falling along the coast.

South-easterly to north-easterly and north-westerly winds reaching speeds of about 40kph could cause more dust clouds, with such weather set to persist.

The NCM stated for Tuesday that it would be dusty in the day and partly cloudy at times in some areas, with a chance of slight rain on the eastern side, which may extend over some internal and northern regions with another fall in temperature.

The UAE could also witness intermittent rain from Tuesday to Thursday. The rain will mainly shower on the nation’s east coast but could also hit some other areas.

The NCM for Wednesday predicts more cloudy weather in some parts of the country with slighter chances of rain and a significant fall in temperatures.

It stated that strong south-easterly to north-easterly winds of around 60kph could whip up dust clouds and decrease visibility.

Conditions will continue to stay the same on Thursday as well, with the chance of showers in the east and over coastal regions during day time.

Winds of around 50kph will persist in causing dust clouds, but temperatures are set to rise again on Thursday.

The sea will be rough, particularly with cloud activity in the Arabian Gulf and rough to mediate weather will persist in the Oman Sea.

The United Arab Emirates has witnessed some unsettled weather during the last month. Heavy rain, floods and high winds hit Al Ain and many other eastern parts of the country during the start of this month.
