Coldplay to perform at Dubai Expo 2020

The audience will surely be witnessing another level of stupefying experience.

Official Twitter account of EXPO 2020 Dubai tweeted informing about the event. The tweet cites, “Expo 2020 Dubai and @Coldplay will bring the world together through the unifying power of music in support of Dubai Expo’s Programme for People and Planet.” 

Meanwhile, the world-famous British band has also expressed their excitement for performing at Dubai Expo and tweeted, “Hello everyone. We’re excited to announce that next Tuesday – February 15 – we’re playing an Infinite Nights show in Dubai in support of @expo2020dubai.”   

Soon after hearing the news, people around the world are going crazy and have expressed their excitement for the night show. 

One of the COLDPLAY fans commented, “Currently fixing the duty schedules. I have to see you guys on Tuesday.”

The other comment states, “I cannot wait to hear you if you perform my universe, I might faint. This is just a dream come true for us – the fans of COLDPLAY”. 

The British band was established in the year of 1996. It consists of vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion and creative director Phil Harvey. 

Tracing back to how the band was formed, they all met at University College London and began playing music together from 1996 to 1998, first calling themselves Pectoralz and then Starfish.  

Coldplay’s debut album, Parachutes (in the year 2000), included the breakthrough hit “Yellow” and received a Brit Award for British Album of the Year, a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album, as well as a Mercury Prize nomination.
