UAE: 296 new COVID cases, 0 deaths, 980 recoveries recorded

The United Arab Emirates recorded a total of 296 additional cases of the COVID-19 virus today, on March 14, 2022, according to the data shared by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention.

Along with these additional infections, on Monday, a total of 980 COVID-19 patients got recovered from the contagious viral disease and got discharged from the hospital facilities. Meanwhile, the health ministry informed that no additional COVID-19 death had been recorded by the Doctors in the United Arab Emirates.

The arrival of these new cases brings the total count of the active novel coronavirus infections in the Middle East nation to 31,095. These new cases were confirmed out of the 254,579 additional COVID-19 tests conducted by the healthcare staff of the country in the last 24 hours. 

The data shared by the health ministry of the Middle East country shows that for the present time, the death rate of UAE remains at 2,302. The recovery rate of the UAE has increased to the mark of 852,306, with the reporting of additional recoveries on Monday. 

As of Monday, March 14, more than 142.5 million RT-PCR tests have been conducted in the United Arab Emirates by the healthcare staff, the data of the health ministry reveals. 

In addition to this, to date in UAE, there are a total of 9,890,548 individuals who have taken at least one dose of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines and are partially vaccinated. 

On the other hand, there are a total of 9,554,269 persons in UAE, who have received their required number of doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and are therefore in the category of fully vaccinated individuals. This number of citizens represents around 96.6% of the country’s total population. 

There are a total of 4,858,237 individuals who are fully immunised against the pandemic and have also received their booster shots, according to the statics. This tally of individuals computes for nearly 49.1% of the UAE’s total targeted population.
