Next session of World Gov Summit to be held from 13-15 February 2023

The next session of the World Government Summit will take place from 13-15 February 2023, as per the recent announcement made by the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai - Sheikh Mohammed. 

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The next session of the World Government Summit will take place from 13-15 February 2023, as per the recent announcement made by the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai – Sheikh Mohammed. 

“Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Government Summit Foundation, announced the organization of the next session of #القمة_العالمية_للحكومات from 13-15 February 2023,” official Twitter handle of World Government Summit asserted.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla – Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates, during the launch of the Umm Al Quwain Strategy, speaking during the summit, cited, “Achieving sustainable economic growth, protecting and rehabilitating the marine environment and preserving Umm Al Quwain’s heritage and culture, are basic principles.”  

While Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait – Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, during the second day of the summit, underlined the challenges which are being faced by the governments in terms of several changes world witnesses. 

World Gov Summit tweeted, “H.E. Mari Pangestu, Director General for Development Policy and Partnerships, @WorldBank, explains the significant role that governments have in strengthening infrastructure resilience during the #WorldGovSummit #WGS2022.” 

“H.E. @mariammalmheiri Minister of Climate Change and Environment, UAE, H.E. Mohamed Al Hammadi, CEO @enec_uae & H.E. William Magwood, Director General, @OECD_NEA discussed the transition toward green energy & the potential of new tech for the sector at the #WorldGovSummit.” 

Apart from this, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who holds the position of Chairperson, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, UAE, while speaking during the summit, addressed the creative cultural sector of Dubai and highlighted its positive impacts on the economy and society of the Middle East country
