Cyber Node is the very first initiative done under the Dubai Cyber Innovation Park, which was earlier launched this year during GISEC 2022.

The recent launch of Cyber Node came as a result of DESC’s ongoing efforts to achieve the objectives of Dubai’s Cyber Security Strategy, which further focuses on making a smart cyber society.

Cyber Node gives the required ecosystem for increasing the skills of the cyber workforce, in addition to protecting the Dubai’s vital information infrastructure from continuously changing cyber risks.

Cyber Node has become an epicentre for cyber experts from the private and public sectors, as well as educational institutions.

The Director-General of Digital Dubai, Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, said, “DESC’s latest initiative, Cybernode, is in line with the objectives of the Dubai government and the aspirations of the smart leadership for Dubai to be an international model for a digital lifestyle. These days cybersecurity arises as one of the challenges we aim to include in the comprehensive digital life we aspire for. The Cyber Node initiative is crucial in this regard. We at DDA are proud to join efforts with DESC and envision a future full of digital transformations. Cyber Node is the result of a strategic partnership with an international company like Thales, is now in full willingness to welcome cybersecurity experts, academics, as well as graduates desiring to be part of an advanced cybersecurity hub”.
