A Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed by an associate of Eve Holding and Falcon Aviation Services for around 35 eVTOL aircraft. The aviation is expected to initiate in 2026.

Falcon and Eve will operate with the local authorities and stakeholders to support the development of the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem for the UAE.

The chief operation officer (COO) of Falcon, Captain Ramandeep Oberoi, stated, “We are delighted to collaborate with Eve and become the first operator of eVTOL in Dubai as well as the Mena region. The launch of this concept completely aligns with the Smart Dubai vision and will contribute to placing Dubai as a global leader in sustainable UAM transportation.”

Eve was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in May this year and presently has orders from 19 clients around the world for 1,825 aircraft.

The co-CEO of Eve, Andre Stein, stated the agreement would help to place Dubai as a top leader in the UAM market.

This is the next big thing to be started in Dubai. At the start of 2022, Bellwether Industries, a London-based startup, revealed that it had finished testing its fully-electrical eVTOL prototype in Dubai. Furthermore, it also released a video of the hypercar model flying in the sky.

A Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) forum also talked about traffic rules for driverless flying taxis in Dubai during the start of this year.

Eve Holding also posted on their official Twitter handle about the new announcement and stated, “Today, we announced a collaboration with Falcon Aviation Services with an order of up 35 to eVTOLs. The partnership will introduce this new mode of transport to Dubai.”
