UAE: Sheikh Mohammed congratulates toppers of Class 12 for excellent performance

The Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on Tuesday, June 28, praised and congratulated the toppers of Class 12 for their excellent performance in their final exams of the academic session 2021-2022.

Sheikh Mohammed stated on his official Twitter account, “A while ago, I talked with Mzoon Al-Ketbi and Somaya Al-Ketbi from high school to congratulate them. We congratulate all the toppers as well as the high-school graduates.”

He also congratulated all the fathers and mothers and the leaders of our nation’s future, and they also said that the coming days for the students are more beautiful and more significant.

The Dubai Ruler gave the comments after the Emirates School Establishment disclosed the names of the Class 12 toppers in private and public schools that follow the Ministry of Education curriculum.

The top three students from the United Arab Emirates from Grade 12 were Mzoon Khalifa Salim Alhafri Al-Ketbi, an Emirati from Falaj Al Mualla Girls School in Umm Al Quwain, Somaya Abdulla Salem Hamad Al-Ketbi, an Emirati from Al Ataa School in Al Ain and Abdelrahman Moustafa Badawy Elkhalafy, an Egyptian from Abdullah bin Al Zubair Boys School in Sharjah.

The Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, Sarah Al Amiri, also congratulated the students, teachers and parents through her Twitter handle.

Al Amiri posted, “I congratulate the Grade 12 students for this excellence and leadership. Your efforts at this stage will direct your path to your next steps. The UAE hopes a lot from you. You are its bet and its hope for the future. I wish you continued success and further success.”

She further congratulated the parents of the pupils while highlighting that these marks are because of their continuous support and effort as well as standing by their children in this essential educational stage in their lives.

Over 28,900 Grade 12 students in private and public schools that follow the curriculum as per the Ministry of Education (MoE) gave their final exams from June 13 to 17. The students were from 87 schools around the UAE.
