The new flight was launched on June 29, Wednesday. “The first flight took off from Dubai on Wednesday morning,” stated Singh.

The flights on this route will operate on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

246 people travelled to Delhi from Dubai on June 29, and Thursday’s flight was also sold out after 256 tourists bought the tickets.

Singh further mentioned that the minimum cost of the one-way economy class ticket is Dh1130, and business class prices are around Dh2030.

Before this Wednesday, only 14 Dreamliners were working between both destinations. Earlier, the departures to Delhi were held only in the evenings and late evenings. With the addition of these morning flights, a robust demand has been witnessed for bookings between these two locations.

These flights are launched to meet the high demand for vacation travel to Dubai and nearby locations. The airline also stated that it is witnessing high responses, and bookings on their wide-body aircraft will be available till October this year.

Singh stated the same flight schedule would also be available after the summer holidays.

Furthermore, the Boeing Dreamliner is an aircraft liked by all, and Air India provides more value for money than many other international carriers. The flights also offer attractive prices and convenient onward connections.

Singh stated the holiday travel demand from the United Arab Emirates to India has already started as most schools are closed for the summer holidays on June 30.

“The demand for travel to India at this moment is very heightened. The demand falls only after mid-July,” he said.
