Emirates routes set to be upgraded from November 06

An Emirates route which has been upgraded in October, is set to be followed up daily from the month of November, the official website announced on Monday.

In past years, Emirates has emerged as the most prominent airline in the world; the world-famous airlines are looking forward to expanding.

This further leads to travellers travelling from Dubai having more options widening the horizons of one of the world’s most active transport hubs.

The Taipei-Dubai route is planned to be followed up daily from November 6.

It comes after the decision of Taiwan’s reopening plan, with its mandatory COVID-19 quarantine restrictions lifted.

Operated by a Boeing 777, flight EK366 will leave Dubai at 2:50 am and arrive in Taipei at 2:45 pm.

The return flight will leave Taipei at 10:45 pm, landing in Dubai at 4:35 am the next day; all times are local.

For those eligible, travellers can visit Taiwan visa-free, with all inbound passengers advised to go through seven-day self-health monitoring.

Emirates started daily flights to Taipei from Dubai in 2014.

The move to reopen the daily service comes after recent expansion across the board.

Earlier this month, the airline upgraded its capacity on its Tokyo Narita-Dubai route with the deployment of its flagship A380 on November 15.

Like Taiwan, Japan introduced substantial entry restrictions to deal with the COVID pandemic.

This reduced the footfall on the normally-busy flight route – but as those restrictions are lifted and the world takes a breath from lockdowns, business is slowly returning to normal.

Tickets can be booked through the airline’s official website – emirates.com, the Emirates App, or travel agents.

The airline announced its intention to train future cabin crew in the metaverse.

As part of the Dubai Metaverse Strategy, the new technology is hoped to allow efficient and accurate training methods through simulated real-life scenarios.

Emirates also revealed its intention to enter the metaverse back in April.

According to reports, the Emirates pavilion at the Expo 2020 site will be repurposed into a centre for innovation.

The airline plans to use this to bring people from around the world to work on its future-focused projects, including those relating to the metaverse, NFTs and Web3.

It is already working on releasing both collectable and utility-based NFTs.
