This talent had helped her gain 1.9k family on her Facebook account.

She recently shared her experience visiting the Saudi Border on her 277th day of cycling. Hels on wheels shared that she cycled for 118 km to reach her destination.

While sharing her experience with Facebook, she wrote:-

Mohammed, the kind Afghani Pakistani man who’d offered his carpet space for me to camp on, brought me a mug of Karak chai to my tent.

I asked him about the curious goings-on of fence-hopping and mooching about towards the Al-Ruwais plant. He replied, ‘hammam’, which explains the fence-hopping but not the bizarre bus drop-offs and skulking about of loitering men.

Sadly, today, after being free throughout Oman of such harassment, I was propositioned on the motorway by a curb-crawling South Asian man.

It’s a great shame. I’ve so enjoyed the feeling of safety that comes without such behaviour. In reply, I filmed the perpetrator, causing him to speed off. Except I had the camera the wrong way, so I have footage of me calmly mouthing ‘F*** You’ to myself.

This, along with another creepy encounter, plus the background visa stress, left me in a reclusive mood, but some friendly French football fans cheered me up. Though I couldn’t quite bring myself to wish them success against Morocco, I managed to wish them an enjoyable game, at least.

Come sunset, and I was just 20 km from the border but out of energy and motivation. A huge truck stop presented a suitable opportunity to camp, but I was quickly adopted and shown to a dark little storeroom. In return, I bought my dinner from the man who helped me, washing it down with the last of my box of wine. If all goes well, I’ll be in dry Saudi Arabia tomorrow.. inshallah..
