Saint Lucia: The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, has recently participated in the National Ecumenical Service on the auspicious occasion of the nation's forty-fourth (44th) Independence Anniversary.

Saint Lucia: The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, has recently participated in the National Ecumenical Service on the auspicious occasion of the nation’s forty-fourth (44th) Independence Anniversary.

According to the recent updates, The National Ecumenical Service was scheduled to be held at the Minor Basilica of the Conception Church in the city centre yesterday, 17 February 2023. in addition, Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire took to his official social media handle to share the news with fellow residents of the small island country.

In his remarks, Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information of Saint Lucia, Hilaire, stated in his Facebook post, “In all, we do we must give the highest praises for giving us the breath of life to see another day and another year.”

Furthermore, Ernest Hilaire explained the event’s significance through his Facebook message and conveyed that every human being must hold immense gratitude and thankfulness towards the gift of life and being honoured for such a beautiful incarnation.

“We must appreciate and cherish the chance of living our life along with being aware of the breaths that the supreme power has provided us to live and see another day and another year,” added Deputy Prime Minster of Saint Lucia in his Facebook caption.

Moreover, Minister of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information Hilaire has also shared the glimpse and photographs from the National Ecumenical Service event organized at the city centre of Minor Basilica of the Conception Church during the observation on the occasion of the forty-fourth (44th) Independence Anniversary of Saint Lucia.

In the uploaded photographs, Deputy PM Ernest Hilaire was seen delivering the speech during the event. He addressed the audience with his opening remarks and extended his best wishes and congratulation to all the residents of Saint Lucia for the Independence Anniversary. He concluded his speech by noting the slogan, which read, “Duavan Ansamn, One People Shaping Our Destiny.”
