Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Terrance Drew, has extended his invitation to the nation’s people to attend the National Assembly sitting on Tuesday, 4th April 2023, at 10 am. The Parliament sitting is scheduled to be held to discuss various bills and amendments in the assembly for the upcoming time period.
According to the shared information, the update regarding the schedule of the National Assembly meeting was shared through the official social media handle of the Prime Minister, Terrance Drew.
He extended his warm greeting to the people of St Kitts and Nevis. He urged them to attend the conference to get updates on various government decisions and amendments in numerous fields.
While sharing the information and inviting the residents and people of the twin island federation, PM Drew noted in his Facebook caption, “Tune in at 10 am tomorrow, Tuesday 4th April, for the sitting of the National Assembly of Saint Christopher and Nevis on ZIZ TV Channel 5 or their YouTube and Facebook pages @ZIZOnline.”
In his remarks, the Prime Minister of the island country encouraged the people to witness the assembly sitting via various online channels such as ZIZ TV, Channel 5 or the official YouTube and Facebook pages of the government of St Kitts and Nevis. He also pointed out that the conference will be broadcasted live through the official website of ZIZ TV, www.zizonline.com.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that during the national assembly, Prime Minister Terrance Drew will move the Second Reading of the Caribbean Community and Africa Export-Import (Agreement for 2023 which had “establishment of a Partnership) Bill 2023 and had its first Reading on the 8th February 2023.”
The reports also noted that the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (Amendment) Bill, 2023, had its First Reading on 7th March 2023. Moreover, during the assembly sitting, various top government officials from St Kitts and Nevis are expected to be present at the time, such as the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Terrance Drew, along with the organization of National Security, Citizenship and Immigration, Health and Human Resource Management and Social Security.
