United Arab Emirates: The Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Police Sciences and Security at the Abu Dhabi Police General Command celebrated the first batch of officers participating in the “Police Station Managers” courses held in the United States of America. The courses were held for a period of three weeks in cooperation with the New York Police.
According to recent information, the Abu Dhabi Police General Command has taken to its official social media handle to share the news while extending a greeting to the New York Police Department for cooperation.The courses have been reported to include theory and practical lectures in police stations and various departments and meetings with New York police leaders.
During the event, the officers were honoured by Major General Thani Bati Al-Shamsi, Director of the Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, and Dean Dr Rashid Borshid, Deputy Director of the Academy.
They included the honour Colonel Youssef Muhammad Al-Muhiri, Advocate Omar Muhammad Fadel Al-Hamli, Major Sultan Al-Raei Shamsi, and Major Faisal Suleiman Al-Marzouqi.
On his part, Major General Thani Batti Al-Shamsi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the honourable and their interest in presenting courses in a distinguished and athletic manner in accordance with the trends of the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police.
It was further ensured regarding the continued interest in enhancing cooperation with partners from different police and security agencies, local, regional and international. It was also noted that the importance of promoting police and security cooperation was emphasized during the course event.
The reports outlined that the courses also included transferring experiences, practical experiences, and following up-up-to-date State-of-the-art technologies and employing them in the security field to serve communities by achieving the aspirations of crime prevention and achieving continuous rates of promoting safety, security and reassurance in our communities.
“The honouree was attended by Andrew Komarchivakol, the Abu Dhabi Police Liaison Officer, and a number of officers and experts in police and security work,” said the authorities.
