Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The Abu Dhabi Police informed that the Directorate of Traffic and Patrols of the Central Operations Sector in the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police have carried out initiatives in Abu Dhabi and Ain and Zafra in celebration of the International Day of Humanitarian Action, which falls on August 19 annually and this year comes internationally under the slogan “Provide assistance to the communities we serve no matter what”.

Initiatives included holding a lunch banquet for employees and users at the Directorate Theater in Abu Dhabi, honouring a number of workers in Al Ain city and distributing gifts to them to promote the culture of giving and humanitarian work, honouring a number of workers who are rotary truck drivers in the Zafra region, appreciating their diligence in adhering to traffic rules and providing a model in humanitarian work And their respect for laws and order.

According to the official update, Major Mahmoud Youssef Al-Balushi, Directorate of Traffic and Patrols, confirmed the interest of Abu Dhabi Police in the working class and being with them on various occasions, strengthening traffic awareness efforts and affirming their athletic role in the development journey of the country.

Colonel Talib Muhammad Talib Al-Sharifi, Deputy Director of Al-Zafra Traffic Administration, confirmed that the initiative comes in the interest of Abu Dhabi Police to participate in various community activities and promote the culture of social responsibility, signifying that the efforts of essential services workers are appreciated and respected by all in all governmental and private institutions.

Accordingly, the workers expressed their happiness and thanked the Abu Dhabi Police for the services provided and their interest in organizing these humanitarian initiatives.
