Sway Bhatia gave an excellent performance on TV when she was 5. She also had a golden opportunity to arrive as an extra with Indian superstars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the movie ‘Happy New Year’.

Bhatia lived in Dubai then, and the movie was filmed at her home ice rink. The scenes called for background skaters.

The young girl has been learning to skate since she was three years old. During an audition, Bhatia was told to skate, but she fell, and her elbow started bleeding.

Describing the incident, Bhatia said, “I got up, and the music was still going, and I kept going, and I think that’s how I booked it.”

The teen actor, Sway Bhatt, lives in Montville and is constantly on the ice as a prominent cast member in the Disney+ series “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.”

The show had its season two premiere Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Sway Bhatia is playing the role of Sofi Hasan Bhatt in the new series “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” streaming on Disney+.

A young girl will be playing a girl who is a fearless team member known for her sharp skills in the rink.

During an Interview, Bhatia, an Indian American actor, during one of her interview told the media, “I think what’s so cool is she gets to be a role model for young girls, and especially young girls of colour, for sure.”

Sway Bhatia added, “I think seeing that on the screen is something that kids really need a lot these days. I can’t say I saw that myself when I was growing up.”

The Disney+ series revives the movie franchise in the present day as a story of underdogs who apply ingenuity and grit to win big.

But it isn’t a simple rehash of the ’90s movies. The show, which premiered in 2021, delivers fresh, compelling stories and comedy along with new characters.
