Today, Wednesday, October 18, the Atlantis The Royal opening date has been set for early 2023, with a grand reveal event planned for January 20, 2023.

Earlier, the grand opening event was organised for November 2022.

The massive hotel, sitting proudly on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah next to the original Atlantis, The Palm, which is a luxurious structure, will have more than 1000 rooms, some of which will have private swimming pools.

The 43-storey luxurious resort will be housing 231 luxury apartments, including 693 hotel rooms and 102 suites, all of which provide breathtaking of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island.

The resort will also feature 90 swimming pools, including a rooftop infinity pool on the 22nd floor, suspended 90 meters above ground level.

The luxurious hotel also offers 18 new restaurants with magnificent designs, six of which will come from world-famous celebrity chefs, all making their Dubai debut.

These will be Costas Spiliadis, Gastón Acurio, Ariana Bundy, Heston Blumenthal and José Andrés.

Restaurants include Jaleo Dubai by José Andrés, who brings lip-smacking Spanish cuisine to the menu.

Putting a spin on his favourite childhood dishes, the menu will feature tapas, paellas, plus a host of Spanish cheese and grapes.

British culinary legend Heston Blumenthal, he of bacon-and-egg ice cream and snail porridge fame and the chef behind The Fat Duck will bring his experimental food to Dubai in what will be his first restaurant in the city – Dinner By Heston Blumenthal.

One of the most stunning views in Dubai is set to come from Ling Ling, the sister restaurant to Hakkasan Dubai.
This will be a 180-degree restaurant, bar, and nightclub hybrid overlooking Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf.
There will also be the world’s first Nobu Beach Club, bringing the famous Japanese chef’s cuisine to the shore of Palm Jumeirah.
