Egypt: Dr Khaled Abdul Ghaffar – Minister of Health and Population, has received a detailed report on the services of the presidential health initiatives directed by the President, Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The initiative was introduced entitled “100 Days of Health” for citizens and residents in all governorates of the Republic.
On his part, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, Hossam Abdul Ghaffar, clarified that according to the report, the “100 Days of Health” campaign provided services of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi’s initiatives and provided 51 thousand and 709 services.
It has been said that the Eastern Province was the top governorate in total services provided, with 8 thousand and 903 services, followed by Dahliya, with 6 thousand and 186 services.
The official spokesperson Ghaffar added that the campaign provided the services of the President’s initiative to support women’s health and provided the services to nearly 5 thousand and 215 women during the first visit. The Eastern province was the top governorate providing 859 services, followed by the Governorate of Minoufia with 726 services, said reports.
Following this, with casual and frequent visits, the campaign reached 19 thousand and 383 visits; 4 thousand 575 visits led the Eastern one, and the third one in Dakahlia with 2995 visits. He mentioned that the “100 Days of Health” campaign provided the services of the President’s initiative for the early detection of chronic diseases.
The Ministry of Health also emphasized the treatment of weakness and hearing loss in newborns to 661 children. Al-Minya led with 230 children, followed by the Governorate of Dahliya, examining 60 children.
He continued that according to the report, the «100 Days of Health» campaign provided yesterday, 19 thousand and 435 services, within the initiative of the President for early detection and treatment of chronic diseases and kidney diseases, and the mafia were the top governorates with 3 thousand and 849 services, followed by the Governorate of Dakhelia with 2626 services.
Spokesperson Abdul Ghaffar indicated that the campaign provided 1278 services yesterday within the Presidential Initiative for Maternal and Fetal Health. The Eastern province was the top governorate providing 641 services, followed by the Governorate of Menufiya with 267 services.
He added that the health campaign provided 753 services to extract certificates of the President’s Initiative for Examination of Pre-Marriage, and the top governorates were 186 A service, followed by Al-Dakhlia Governorate with 90 services.
Abdul Ghaffar said that the campaign provided the services of the President’s initiative for the examination of cancerous tumours (prostate – colon – lung – cervix), filling 4 thousand and 982 survey forms, and the cardiovascular were the top governorates with 2704 forms, followed by the Governorate of Lake with 1262 forms.
The campaign introduced by the Ministry of Health provided awareness and health education services to 33 thousand and 609 people through social media teams spread in public areas, clubs and malls in governorates.
Through digital channels, the government is working to raise awareness and direct citizens to receive the services of the public health initiatives provided by the campaign; educational seminars and awareness activities were also held.
Abdul Ghaffar» called on all citizens to go to the headquarters for providing campaign services, and locations for the concentration of mobile clinics, to avail their services, or to request home visits for patients from the elderly, and those unable to move via the hotline 15335.
