Egypt: Hayya Egypt Fund has launched the social protection caravan for the first families in the care of Dakhelia Governorate in the indoor hall of Mansoura Stadium this morning, Tuesday, July 25th, 2023.Â
The launch was conducted within the two initiatives, the Joy, Balhana and Shifa Shop, to provide clothes and food items for more than 4 thousand deserving families.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakhelia, and with the participation of several governorate leaders. In this context, the Hayya Egypt Fund executive director, Tamer Abdul Fattah, said that the social protection caravan included the organization of the largest Kassa exhibition in Dakahlia Governorate for the first families.
“The exhibition includes sponsorship within the activities of the Al-Farha Shop initiative and continues for three consecutive days, which are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, to allow the targeted families to choose what suits them as a gift from The box”, added the Governor Ayman Mukhtar.
The launch includes 40 thousand pieces of clothes, shoes, accessories, cooking utensils and furniture, in addition to the distribution of children’s toys and miscellaneous stationery, in cooperation with the Egyptian Al-Kasa Bank and the Al-Bar and Taqwa Charitable Association.
Abdul Fattah added that the social protection convoy of Dakhelia Governorate includes 40 tons of vegetables as part of the Bala Hana Wal Shafa initiative, depending on the fund’s target families’ data and partner civil society organizations.
Furthermore, as per the reports, the fund’s executive director said that the social protection caravans are a model for the fund’s strategy in supporting its partnership with civil society organizations.
It was outlined that the civil society organization have been committed to their social responsibility towards providing various means of support and care to deserving families and alleviating burdens on them in different governorates of the republic.
In the end, it is worth noting that the “Shop of Joy” initiative was launched in April 2019, and the industry serves besides preparing brides to organize exhibitions for new clothes in government universities and orphanages.
The exhibitions were organized for students of Alexandria, Minya, South Valley, Ain Shams, Damietta, Sohag, Fayoum, Helwan, Assiut, Minya, and Suez in addition to organizing exhibitions for families First in care, orphanage roles, children of prisoners and the needy.
