UAE Weather update: Temperature expected to rise by 43ºC

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a fog alert with predicted areas of fog formation to be the Al Dhafra region. The temperature is also expected to rise as high as 43ºC.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a fog alert with predicted areas of fog formation to be the Al Dhafra region. The temperature is also expected to rise as high as 43ºC.

In the recent statement issued by the NCM on Saturday, 11 June, it said that the weather on Sunday would be fair in general as well as dusty in the daytime. Some low clouds are also predicted to appear over the Eastern coast by morning.

On Monday, the day will be primarily fair in general and low clouds will be formed with a chance of light rain. By the night, the weather will be humid, and Tuesday morning with being foggy, or a mist formation will take place over some coastal and internal areas.

Residents can expect humid weather all around the week with a slight chance of fog and mist. The weather conditions during the day will stay fair in general, however, some low clouds will form over the Eastern coast, with a prediction of light rain. Temperatures are expected to increase gradually.

The NCM statement stated, “There will be light to medium Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times pushing blowing dust during daytime Eastward, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr.”

Temperatures are expected to increase gradually and will be as high as 43ºC and 42ºC in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, respectively.

Weather conditions at sea will be moderate to light in the Arabian Gulf and slight to medium in the Oman Sea.

The United Arab Emirates usually witnesses sudden changes in weather conditions and temperatures with every passing day and different weathers are found in different regions of the country.
