DUBAI EXPO 2020: Authorities extends pavilion visiting hours

Dubai EXPO 2020 authorities have stated that the opening hours for all of the pavilions will be extended till 11 pm, as the EXPO is on its verge to end.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai EXPO 2020 authorities have stated that the opening hours for all of the pavilions will be extended till 11 pm, as the EXPO is on its verge to end.

An extra hour has been granted by the DUBAI EXPO 2020 authorities so that the visitors can enjoy and explore the rich heritage and culture of a country demonstrated in their pavilions as the fair steps in its final month.

The data reveals that to date, more than 16 million visitors from across the world have paid a visit to the mega event as of February 28, 2022. Even there are some visitors who went to the fair more than 75 times, noting they could not resist themselves from coming to EXPO 2020.

“Expo 2020 Dubai has also launched a special edition white passport’ – a bespoke ‘thank you’ to all visitors who have 100 or more stamps on their yellow passports – another reason for guests to explore as many of the 200-plus pavilions as possible before doors close on March 31”, the organizers of the Dubai EXPO 2020 event states.

Meanwhile, Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General, Expo 2020 Dubai, stated, “The first World Expo in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region has restored hope to the global community and helped to generate a renewed sense of commitment to the event’s core themes of sustainability, mobility and opportunity”.

Following the statement, he added, “Having over 28,000 events staged in the last five months, we have achieved over we could have ever dreamed, but there is still much more to come, and we encourage visitors to take this opportunity to embrace this unique chance to witness first-hand everything Expo 2020 Dubai has to offer, before the gates close for the final time this month.”

From October 2021 to February 2022, the EXPO witnessed the arrival of over 13,000 heads of state, presidents, prime ministers and ministers.
