UAE detects additional 367 COVID cases, 0 deaths

The Middle East country recorded a total of 367 additional cases of the COVID-19 virus today, on March 19, 2022.

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Middle East country recorded a total of 367 additional cases of the COVID-19 virus today, on March 19, 2022, according to the data shared by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health. 

The arrival of these additional infections brings the total count of the confirmed cases in the UAE to 887,382. These news infections were reported among the 304,600 additional COVID-19 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.

The health ministry cited that along with these fresh COVID cases, a total of 816 COVID-19 patients got fully recovered from the deadliest virus and were discharged from the hospital facilities. This brings the overall recovery rate of the United Arab Emirates to 857,206 as of March 19, 2022. 

Although no additional death has been recorded by the healthcare facilities of UAE, thus, the COVID-19 fatality rate of the Middle East nation remains at 2,302.  

The vaccination coverage rate of UAE:

In the United Arab Emirates, there are a total of 9,890,536 individuals who have received their at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines and are now in the category of partially vaccinated population. This number of individuals represents around 99 percent of the total targeted eligible population. 

On the other hand, till now, there are a total of 9,574,039 citizens of the Middle East country who have taken their recommended number of the COVID-19 vaccines and are now fully vaccinated against the contagious COVID-19 viral disease. This number represents about 96.8% of the total targeted eligible population of the UAE. 

In terms of booster shots, there are a total of 4,902,739 individuals in the United Arab Emirates who are fully vaccinated and have also taken their third shot (booster jab) of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine, as of March 18, Friday, according to the data given.
