UAE reports new 338 COVID cases with 0 deaths

According to the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Protection of United Arab Emirates, a total of additional 338 COVID-19 cases have been reported today (Monday, March 21). 

Abu Dhabi, UAE: According to the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Protection of United Arab Emirates, a total of additional 338 COVID-19 cases have been reported today (Monday, March 21). 

Along with these fresh COVID infections, a total of 899 patients of the deadliest viral illness recovered from the virus and got discharged from the hospital facilities as of March 21, 2022. However, no new COVID related fatality has been recorded in the United Arab Emirates.

The arrival of these new cases brings the total count of novel coronavirus active cases to 26,649; meanwhile, the overall count of confirmed COVID-19 infections has increased to 887,067, as of March 21, 2022, since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak in the Middle East country. 

For the present time, the total number of the COVID-19 patients who recovered from the virus has hiked to 858,116. The death rate of the United Arab Emirates currently remains at 2,302, as no new additional death has been recorded. 

The COVID-19 vaccination rate of the country: 

According to the official statics, till March 20, 2022, there are a total of 9,890,591 individuals in the Middle East country who have taken their at least first dose of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines and are in the category of partially vaccinated individuals. This number of individuals represents 99% of the total eligible targeted UAE population. 

On the other end, there are a total of 9,574,092 citizens of UAE who have received their required number of the COVID-19 jabs and are fully vaccinated against the deadliest virus, as of March 20, 2022. This counts for around 96.8% of the total targeted population of the UAE. 

Meanwhile, to date, there are a total of 4,920,568 individuals in the Middle East country are fully vaccinated and have also taken their third dose that, is booster shot, representing at least 49.8% of the total population.
