UAE: New 347 additional COVID cases recorded

Abu Dhabi, UAE: In the United Arab Emirates, additional 347 cases of the novel coronavirus have been recorded by the healthcare facilities today on, March 25, 2022, Friday, according to the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Prevention. 

This brings the overall number of the COVID-19 infections of the United Arab Emirates to 889,452, as of March 25. On the other end, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 infections of the UAE has reached the mark of 889,452 since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The health ministry report’s data further adds that there are a total of 882 patients of the deadliest COVID-19 viral disease who recovered from the mutant in the past 24 hours and have now been discharged from the hospital facilities in UAE. The total number of the COVID-19 recoveries has increased to 862,730 as of March 25, 2022. 

No additional death has been recorded in the Middle East nation from past weeks; thus, the total number of COVID-19 related fatalities remains at 2,302, according to the official data shared by the health ministry.

COVID vaccination statics of the United Arab Emirates

In the Middle East country, there are a total of 9,890,405 citizens who have taken their at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines and falls under the category of partially vaccinated population. This figure of individuals represents around 99% of the total eligible targeted population of the UAE. 

Meanwhile, there are a total of 9,593,693 individuals are fully immunized against the deadliest mutant by receiving their required number of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines, representing nearly 97% of the total eligible population. 

The official statics further reveals that to date, a total of 4,945,202 citizens of the Middle East nation are fully vaccinated and have also taken their third dose, that is, booster shots of the novel coronavirus vaccines, computing for around 50% of the total targeted eligible population.
