5-yr-old returns found money, gets reward from Dubai Police

A 5 years-old boy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has been honoured by Al Qusais Police Station for returning Dh4,000 lost cash to the Police authorities.  

Abu Dhabi, UAE: Honesty is one of the parents’ moral values to inculcate in their children, to help them learn and grow into good humans. A 5 years-old boy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has been honoured by Al Qusais Police Station for returning Dh4,000 lost cash to the Police authorities.  

Nigel Ners from the Philippines found the lost amount in the jurisdiction area of the station, according to the statement released by Dubai Police authorities.

Meanwhile, Brigadier Abdulhalim Muhammad Al Hashmi, Director of Al Qusais Police Station, gave the child award with an appreciation certificate. This award has been granted in order to motivate the boy and other children such acts of kindness and honesty.  

On the other hand, the Father of the 5-year-old appreciated the effort of the Dubai police for giving the award to the child as such rewards will instil values of honesty and integrity in children from a young age only. 

In addition, today, the Dubai Police raised awareness of Talabat Riders on Road Safety. The police provided the information via Facebook post and wrote, “The General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police has recently organized a training workshop on traffic safety for 30 riders of Talabat, the online food delivery company.”

Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazroui – the Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, stated, “During the workshop, the riders were briefed on the significance of adhering to traffic safety rules, the legal liabilities upon violating them and proper procedures to follow.” “The workshop mainly aims to impart experience on warning against some of the most frequent violations made by riders such as wrong turns, overtaking from road shoulder, wrong parking, parking motorcycles on sidewalks, failure of adhering to the mandatory lane, non-compliance with traffic signs, and the lack of leaving sufficient distance behind the vehicle in front.”
