The Director-General of Abu Dhabi Centre for Sheltering and Humanitarian Care – Ewaa, Her Excellency Sarah Shuhail, stated that this MoU is the fulfilment of our longstanding collaboration with Daman, which has caused a significant effect on changing beneficiaries from victims to empowered individuals in their communities.

During the last years, it was seen how Daman augments the values of the Centre, which helps to assure that the beneficiaries have the best levels of privacy and empowerment.

She added that the strategic objectives are based on specifying a network of complementary services that includes federal, local, regional and international partners to provide sustainable and integrated services that meet the highest levels of care and focus on empowering the victims of human trafficking and domestic violence.

Because of the nature of the Centre’s work and the cases that it gets, the provision of healthcare in which Daman plays a vital role is a significant factor during a victim’s psychological and social rehabilitation process, she stated.

The CEO of the National Health Insurance Company – Daman, Hamad Al Mehyas, stated that the signing of this MoU shows our efforts to provide quality healthcare coverage at the highest possible standards for our members around the nation. The agreement is in line with their promise as a socially responsible company to support the country’s efforts to assure healthcare accessibility for all.
