The entity will earlier offer ten boats and provide field & logistical services to permit government entities to perform their tasks in the waters of the Emirate of Dubai. These missions may add inspections, marine surveys and other field operations.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed stated, “The Marine Assistant service delivers its services to all government departments to improve levels of coordination among these authorities. The requesting entity can manage the Authority directly to utilise the marine crafts for managing and performing tasks that need their presence in the waters of the Emirate of Dubai at any time.” He clarified that the Marine Assistant service aims to implement laws, decisions, and regulations and maintain discipline in the waters of Dubai. He noted that the DMCA would assume the charge of coordinating and supervising the provision of marine crafts when needed.
