Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The Abu Dhabi Police announced that recently the members of the police service brief the Ittihad Railways regarding their role in crime prevention and security.
“A delegation from Ittihad Railways briefed on best practices applied in managing community policing in the community security sector of Abu Dhabi Police and its role in crime prevention,” the social media update by the Abu Dhabi Police.
According to the official update, Colonel Saif Ali Jabri, Deputy Director of Community Police Department, met with the visiting delegation headed by Dr Muhammad Mansouri, Director of Governmental Relations at Ittihad for Trains.
The delegation learnt about the mechanism of community policing, the most important experiences in the field of community initiatives and awareness campaigns, and the mechanism of implementing events and campaigns with internal and external partners, and the diversity of awareness offered to the public, which aims to promote and raise the level of security and social awareness in various sectors of society, alongside activating community partnership the role of the individual in fighting crime and consolidating the concept of the positive citizen.
The head of the delegation praised the efforts of community policing, expressed the interest of Ittihad Railways and keenness to enhance cooperation with Abu Dhabi Police in awareness campaigns carried out throughout the year.
Abu Dhabi Police invited the general public to visit the list of weapons displayed at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition to get to know the specifications and standards of weapons by scanning the QR Quick Response Code from 2 to 8 September 2023 AD.
