Bahrain: Health Ministry of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the patronage of Minister Jaleela Jawad Hassan, has recently shared an update regarding the participation of the Dr Imam Ahmed Haji, a member of the Arab Council, in a meeting for Medical Specialties in Psychiatry in Jordan.

According to the shared updates, the information was uploaded on the official social media handle of the Ministry of Health, Bahrain. In addition, the officials reported that “Dr Imam Ahmed Haji, member of the Arab Council, participates in the meeting of the Arab Council for Medical Specialties in Psychiatry in Jordan.”

The reports also confirmed that, during the meeting held in the Kingdom of Jordan for the medical supplies and specialists and to discuss different ways to enhance the sector and its offerings to the people of both nations, several top government officials and members of the concerned authorities were also present.

Furthermore, the meeting was attended by members of Arab countries, chaired by Dr Omar Al-Rawas, President of the Arab Council for Medical Specialties, who hailed the role of members in developing the quality of medical services by investing in training, empowering doctors and working to enhance the capabilities and capabilities of trainee doctors.

Moreover, it was confirmed that Bahrain had won a seat for members of the Evaluation and Examinations Committee, which is one of the pillars of the evaluation and development of the performance of doctors affiliated with the Arab Board program and one of the most important axis of training output.

In this regard, Dr Iman Haji affirmed that through working with the Council, the focus would be on developing clinical training programs, focusing on its output and correlating it with the phase-by-step evaluation to ensure that all doctors are empowered in their work.

Notably, he also stated that doctors are encouraged to reach competitiveness in the field of development and training of doctors in the field of psych medicine and to focus on important sub-disciplinaries such as psychology For children, adults, adult psychology, and addiction treatment medicine.
