Saud Bahwan Group’s association with Japanese brands began in the mid-1960s when it introduced Toshiba in Oman. Soon after, agencies for renowned brands like Seiko and Akai too were acquired.

In the late 1960s, Toyota Motor Corporation was added to the group’s portfolio. It also has agencies for Lexus, Hino, Komatsu, Kato, Yokohama, and many more.

Mohammed Saud Bahwan, Chairman of Saud Bahwan Group, commented: “It gives me immense happiness to be collabing with the globally known and famous Okura Nikko Hotels.

Toshihiro Ogita, President of Hotel Okura Company, added that they are grateful that the Okura Group will take the Sultanate of Oman to new heights.

This expansion of the hotel and its branches into the Middle East will create a new base for us as we seek to raise the profile of Okura Nikko Hotels in the region.”
