The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is set to host the series of the first International Meetings for Art Empowerment in Fustat from May 20 to May 24 for five days from 9 am to 5 pm daily. The meetings aimed to open their doors to visitors to the first Empower Art Forum for Amateurs and lovers of various arts.

As per the sources, the meeting features a variety of art forms, including paintings, digital art, sculpture, video art, photography, sustainable art, Installation and NFTs. In addition, the meeting will also include a series of workshops, discussion sessions, an art camp, and the launch of an Artestial e-platform to connect art lovers worldwide.

Furthermore, with the participation of 105 artists from 35 countries around the world and Egypt will present their paintings at the painting exhibition along with different and distinctive art activities, said the reports.

The Art Empowerment Forum is being held under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Immigration, Ministry of Social Solidarity, National Council for Women, National Council for Disabilities, and Tourism Revitalization Committee in partnership with a group of local and international bodies and organizations.

The Art Empowerment meeting aims to bring international and Egyptian artists together to build bridges between countries through art and related activities.

During the meeting, it will also highlight the role of the Egyptian state in supporting and empowering women in addition to the Art Camp program, which features encourages continuing dialogue between artists and the audience as a way for women to share their experiences around the world.

It is also said that the summit has a tremendous impact on many humanitarian issues and is the first international technical forum encouraging ongoing dialogue to solve these issues and create a better future for humanity.

“We thought holding this global event is a contribution from us in highlighting the role of the Egyptian state globally in supporting and empowering women and creating tourist attractions to achieve sustainable development goals in line with the Egyptian state policy,” said the engaging parties.

It is noteworthy that the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization was chosen to be the starting point of the meeting’s events, reflecting the interest of Egyptian civilization in its different eras in women’s issues.
