Qatar National Convention Centre signs MoU with MANGUSTEEN

Doha: In a significant development, the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) signed an agreement (MoU)with an international event management company, MANGUSTEEN. The signing ceremony between the QNCC and MANGUSTEEN took place on 8th November 2023. QNCC is one of the famous event venues in Qatar.

While speaking on the occasion, Robert Tripoli, General Manager of the Qatar National Convention Centre, said, “Our aim is not just to enrich the cultural landscape of Qatar, but we want to contribute to National Vision 2030 of Qatar. With this collaboration, we will delve into other specific sectors, ranging from fintech and digital transformation to the areas of culture and entertainment. QNCC is also committed to fulfilling the evolving and aspiring needs of the society”.

On the other hand, Chief Executive Officer of the MANGUSTEEN, Malik Shishtawi, stated that “our this partnership with the QNCC is a reflection of our commitment towards the excellence and for the fostering the growth of Qatar’s event industry. The first event to take place after this MoU is the third edition of the Arab Fintech Forum.”

It is to be specifically mentioned that under the terms and conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding, both parties agreed to co-host a number of events in future. This event will include events related to entertainment and the business sector.

It is also worth mentioning that whereas the QNCC will provide the Venue and other essential support, the MANGUSTEEN will lead in the event planning and overall event management.  This collaboration is an example of the perfect synergy between the world-class facility of ONCC and the world-class expertise of the MANGOSTEEN in event management.

This will redefine the event landscape in Qatar and the region. Both sides expressed their happiness over this MoU and vowed to remain committed, for  a higher standard and professionalism .
