Philip J Pierre, The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Congratulated citizens on National Day. The National Day of This Small Caribbean Nation is Celebrated on the 13th of December Every Year in memory of its patron Saint Lucy.

On this historic day, citizens celebrate the rich and diverse history, culture, and tradition of Saint Lucia. It is specifically to be mentioned that in ancient times, Saint Lucia was called Winward Island and was discovered by Europeans in the Late 15th or early 16th Century. Moreover the French were the first settlers on this island and they also gave this Island the Name Saint Lucia, The Only nation in the world With a Female Name.

Prime Minster Philip J Pierre also took to his social media and, while congratulating the people, wrote, “As we usher in this new period of Light and Renewal, I pray for a spirit of peace and love over our island. As we reflect on our lives during this National Day, let us give thanks and commit to being better citizens who proudly build our nation.
Happy National Day to all Saint Lucians”.
