Middle East, Egypt:Â The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr Ashraf Sobhy, has conducted an inspection visit at the undergoing construction work at the Nasr City Youth Centre on Sunday, April 9, 2023. He visited the site to review and follow up on the construction progress.
According to recent information, during his inspection visit at the construction site, Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy was joined by the Director of the Directorate of Youth and Sports, Dr Sayed Hazain, in Cairo, Egypt.
The reports also stated that the ongoing construction work at Nasr City Youth Centre is underway to provide better sportspeople and athletes training facilities. The development progress inside the youth centre is going as anticipated and is expected to be completed in the predicted timeline. Â
Furthermore, the ongoing developments have included the creation of a semi-Olympic swimming pool, children’s swimming pool, playgrounds, cafeteria, games area, an integrated medical unit, and shops on the centre’s wall as well as the development of two playgrounds and raising the efficiency of the centre as a whole.
During his visit to the Nasr City Youth Centre, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sobhy, also went ahead with taking necessary measures regarding the investment proposal to improve the efficiency of the swimming pools and playgrounds in the centre.Â
It was also stressed to establish shops in the centre’s walls, as well as the swift completion of the project and the crushing of all obstacles. In addition, Ashraf Sobhy, the Minister of Youth and Sports, was asked to follow up on all the ongoing development work in youth centres in all other governorates as well.Â
He was further requested to implement them at the highest level possible and in accordance with the established timetables to be able to perform its role fully in providing opportunities for the youth, youth and citizens to engage in various activities.
Notably, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Egypt, took to its official social media handles to share the information with the athletes and sportspeople of the nation.Â
In the shared update, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhy, were seen exchanging key information with the involved developing parties at the site.

The reports have claimed that through the development of the sports centre, the athletes are expected to benefit significantly as they will be provided with world-class training equipment and facilities with other essential resources.
