Govt pays pension to 3105 beneficiaries: PM Philip J Pierre

Philip J. Pierre, The Prime Minister Of the Caribbean Nation Saint Lucia, announced the payment of Pensions. This time government of Saint Lucia paid almost 3105 pensioners with benefits, as revealed by Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre.

While providing information in this regard, Prime Minister Philip j Pierre took to his social media handle.
He wrote on his social media post that “ Today the government of Saint Lucia have paid the 3105 pensioners, these pensioners will receive a time payment of $600 with their monthly pension which they are already getting on the end of every month, A total sum of $1.863 will be put into the local economy by way of this relief effort, notably the last year the amount of this one payment was $500 paid to pensioners of Country”.

Prime Minister further stated that “We have started discussion to enhance the amount of monthly pension for all the eligible citizens of Saint Lucia. This increment will follow the 4.2% increase to all the eligible pensioners who were getting the benefits under the National Insurance Company”.

PM Philip J. Pierre also mentioned that the government will continue to provide every possible assistance to Our Citizens. This assistance will be provided in spite of our government’s grappling with the situation of inflation and some other factors which are affecting the people of the nation.

As soon as the PM announced this scheme for the pensioners, social media flooded with appreciation for PM Philip J Pierre. One user, namely Cyndee Edward, said that “Being a pensioner, I am very thankful to you, honorable Prime Minister; I am indeed very happy that we have a caring Prime Minister Like you who always keeps the citizens on his priorities. May god bless you”.

Another social media user, Nick Charles, commented that “most precious and valuable resources were provided to the Caucasus in the past years , but nowadays the local people of the country are getting the maximum benefits, thank you our beloved Prime Minister”.

Similarly, another use while appreciating the announcement of the Prime Minister, said that “Dear PM of our beloved nation I would like to thank you with folded hand for your restless effort for the welfare of pensioners, you are doing a great job, god is watching over you my PM the star is Shining over you”.

The PM also said that the Government of Saint Lucia is always committed to making the maximum effort for social welfare in future as well
