Fresh 390 cases of COVID infections recorded in UAE

In the United Arab Emirates, a total of 390 individuals tested positive for the contagious COVID-19 viral disease today (on March 24, 2022), Thursday.

Abu Dhabi, UAE: In the United Arab Emirates, a total of 390 individuals tested positive for the contagious COVID-19 viral disease today (on March 24, 2022), Thursday, according to the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Prevention. 

This takes the overall number of active COVID-19 cases to 24,955; meanwhile, the total count of the confirmed COVID-19 infections since the beginning of the pandemic in the Middle East country has risen to 889,105, as of March 24, 2022.

On the other hand, there are a total of 800 COVID patients who got recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours and have been discharged from the hospital facilities, as of Thursday, the data shared by the health ministry further reveals. This brings the total recovery rate of the United Arab Emirates to 861,848. 

As no additional death has been recorded in the Middle East country, the death rate remains at 2,302, as of March 24, 2022. 

The vaccination coverage rate of UAE: 

In the United Arab Emirates, there are a total of 9,890,256 individuals who have taken their at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines and are partially vaccinated. This number of individuals represents almost 100% of the total targeted eligible population of the Middle East nation, to date, according to the official data.  

Meanwhile, there are a total of 9,583,658 citizens of UAE, who so far have taken their required number of the COVID-19 doses and are in the category of fully immunized individuals, computing for nearly 96.9% of the total targeted eligible population of the United Arab Emirates. 

The data of the report further adds that there are a total of 4,945,128 United Arab nationals who are fully vaccinated and have also taken their additional COVID-19 third dose, that is, booster shot. This number of individuals represents 50% of the total targeted population.
