Dominica launches new housing programme, ‘Future Housing Programme’ for country’s youth

The government of Dominica has launched a new housing project named as Future Housing Programme on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, during the handover ceremony, said that under this new initiative, houses at reasonable prices would be given to the youth of the country, particularly people aged 45 or below.

Government of Dominica delivers keys of climate-resilient houses to 57 individuals

The government of the Commonwealth of Dominica handed over the keys to climate-resilient homes to about 57 people on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the State House Conference Center. The housing units built under the Housing Recovery Project have been provided to the families who lost their houses in the landfall of Tropical Storm Erika and Hurricane Maria in 2015 and 2017.
