The initiative was declared in a delegation visit to Abu Dhabi by the ‘Women of Web3’, which is a powerhouse group of disruptive woman tech entrepreneurs from the US inspecting the emirate as a door for global expansion.

The ‘Women of Web3’ delegation is being handled by Access Abu Dhabi, a Maven Global Access programme launched by Adio. The programme strives to empower minority and women-owned businesses in a high-growth nation where women already own almost 50% of small to medium-sized enterprises.

As the emirate continues its efforts to become the Middle East’s crypto hub and the emirate is assuring the essential tools and resources are available to motivate active participation in the Web3 space from women around all communities.

One pillar of blockchain technology, instrumental in pushing its popularity, is its potential to provide access exceeding financial and geographical limitations that excluded groups earlier.

The initiative aims to become a life-changing opportunity for women to capitalise on Web3 opportunities. It provides them with a decentralised web address as well as a digital identity that provides complete control of their data and content within a space that they own entirely, as against Web2 domains, which are rented for fixed time periods via third-party brokers.

The ‘Women of Web3’ delegation that Access Abu Dhabi conducted recently concludes with the delegates exploring business growth opportunities in Abu Dhabi.
