Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The Directorate of the Abu Dhabi Police in the Criminal Security Sector in the General Command of the Abu Dhabi Police conducted a nuclear security training workshop for partners in the Baraka system in the hall of Sheikh Mubarak bin Mohammed.Â
The training workshop was conducted to coordinate and cooperate on the procedures followed and introduce the roles of different practical entities during the system’s activation.
According to recent reports, the updates were issued by the officials of Abu Dhabi Police through its official social media handle. The update further explained the detailed key aspects of the conducted training workshop.Â
In addition, it was also said that the authorities participated in the workshop with Abu Dhabi Police “Leader of Event” both the Armed Forces, Federal Nuclear Control Authority, National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, Abu Dhabi Emirate Centre for Civil Defence Municipalities, Transportation, Education and Knowledge Department, Health-Abu Dhabi, Environment Authority, Nuah Energy Company, and Abu Dhabi Quality Council Correspondence is the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority and the Emirati Red Crescent Authority.
Furthermore, the released update also said that General Hamdan Saif Al Mansouri, Director of the Dafra Police Directorate and the event commander in the Baraka System, explained that the workshop focused on training to enhance response with partners in leadership, control, communications, media response situations and firefighting, rescue and follow-up work in the reception, shelter, and medical response centre, in accordance with best developed global practices.
Notably, General Hamdan Al Mansouri also emphasized the importance of implementing specialized workshops and practical exercises and their role in measuring the degree of readiness and speed of dealing with emergencies, to keep the safety and security of the community members and holding them within the framework of improving the capacity of members of the system and following the training and exercise plan for 2023.Â
