Dominica: The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, has recently shared an update regarding the commencement of the Digital Transformation Roadshow 2023 event at the Pierre Charles Secondary School tomorrow March 30, between 9 am to 4 pm.
According to the update, the schedule of the Digital Transformation Roadshow event was shared by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit through his official social media handle to invite the residents and citizens of the country to attend the event.
On his part, PM Skerrit took to social media to extend the invitations and details to the people of the Commonwealth of Dominica and noted in his Twitter account caption, “Save the date for this opportunity to get on board with developments in the digital economy.”
In addition to this, it was further conveyed that the digital transformation event will be held under the theme and vision of “Harnessing the power of technology; developing a digitally transformed economy.” Furthermore, the event will be organized and conducted under the observation of the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica along with the patronage of PM Roosevelt Skerrit, said reports.
As per the reports, this year’s digital transformation roadshow is to be held as part of operations of the ‘Caribbean Digital Transformation Project’, which was implemented by the (GoCD) due to the recognition of the government of the role that digital technologies, as well as solutions, can play in strengthening the climate resilience of island and its people.
Moreover, the journey of the digitally transformed economy of the country will further benefit in acknowledging the importance of integration with the digital economy globally to expand markets as well as drive sustainability of businesses, government, and individuals, added reports.
The Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, has further conveyed to his fellow Dominicans that they are all welcomed at the event by the government of Dominica with wide open arms. He also pointed out the significance of the to be held digital transformation roadshow in 2023, as it would target the potential field which could be enhanced by the introduction of digital instruments and gadgets.
PM Skerrit extended his remarks while inviting the people to attend the event; he stated that technological advancements in different sectors would be a step forward in the right direction in order to improve the level of the national economy. Harnessing distinctive fields with technology has great importance in today’s world as it holds power to boost the process of Dominica towards becoming a more dependable nation altogether, added the Prime Minister.
